It feels like it must be over, but I'm still here

I got into an jealous (and he says unfounded) argumentwith my husband before bed last night and kept it going (as he says I always do) after he wanted to sleep, even though neither of us were going to be able to. He snatched the duvet from me and took it. We argued about this and he gave it back, saying I could only keep it if I didn't speak and it was abusive to stop him sleeping. I spoke again. He pulled it off the bed and me with it. He says I should have let go and I wouldn't have been dragged from my bed or hit my head on the wardrobe. I followed him downstairs again, where he was taking the duvet, as I had no duvet and there was a blanket on the sofa. He grabbed me and dragged me round, banged my head against a wall (he says accidentally), threw me on the floor, held his whole body on top of me, pressed his face on mine and said that's what I'm like, while covering my face in spit. There's no getting away from my nagging and my arguing when he's told me to stop. I had nowhere to go. He apologised. Then talked about how I'd wound him up to that point. Then apologised. Then went to bed. I tried to sleep on the sofa and need to go to work soon. Are we as bad as each other? Is there any coming back from this after we've calmed down and would I have gone already if this was over?
