To be worried about my 15month old to be walking with his feet turned in and on his tip toes.

Go to your gop. My son had this. We got referred to orthopaedic clinic. Turned out he was fine. They said he would grow out of it, and he did. They do have plastic splints for them to wear if needs be.

Not at all. Best get it checked out. No harm in that. My son is 12 and needs insoles now due to very flat feet caused by tight ankles as a child, which impacted his lower spine (all preventable - wish I'd sought help earlier).

My granddaughter is the same age and her toes turn in. The gp told my daughter it is quite common and she will grow out of it.

Could walking with feet turned inwards be a sign of talipes feet? Not sure whether it would have been picked up by now but I had it as a baby and it was sorted easily.
Tip toe walking can be a sign of autism but not always. For example dh walked on tip toes as a child but is not autistic. Ds however goes from normal flat foot walking to tip toes and is currently being assessed for autism. Contact your health visitor if you are worried, they will be able to refer you to the right people who can help if they share your concerns.

Same as pp - my son had turned in toes at the same age. Health visitor referred us to a specialist clinic at hospital, he was assessed and they said he would grow out if it, which he had done. I would try to see health visitor if you have one, or gp to be on the safe side though

Is that what they also call pigeon toe walking .My DD used to do that when she was younger .She was referred to a specialist and they said she would outgrow it and she did .

It can be a sign of autism OR completely normal in a 15 month old. Dts did it for ages.

He only sometimes walks on his toes, it tends to be when he's walking faster. It's strange as he started walking at 9months and his feet where straight, it just happened gradually and now it's getting really bad.

It's common. Usually hypermobility, sometimes tibial torsion/femoral anteversion. The latter two they nearly always grow out of, can get worse before it gets better. Maybe get a referral to physio for reassurance. 2 of mine have done it, one it was severe. Both have been because of hypermobility.

My daughter did this. Gp said as long as they stop by age 3. No referral needed. She's 3 now and walks normal.

My little girl is 2 and half and cant walk yet but when standing it's on tip toes. She is under the orthopedic consultant and physio but they are just waiting at the moment. Physio recommended trainers with a raised heel sole if that makes sense.
