Gutted at funeral timing

My DFil died yesterday afternoon. We are all gutted. My DP and I have one biological child and he has just recently adopted my older 3. They all loved their Grandpa very much and have been involved with the family for 6 years. I have just learnt that the funeral will be held on my second oldests 13th birthday. AIBU to be absolutely gutted about this? And how on earth do I handle it? I don't want to upset anyone but my priority is always my children
