DP and evening housework

Hi, I’ve namechanged as don’t want to out myself. DP and I have been together for 4 years and are trying for a baby at the moment. During the time we’ve been together we have both worked. Two weeks ago I stopped working as DP and I both agreed it would be for the best. I was in a stressful job that I hated and we both thought it best for me to focus on being happy and calm to give ourselves the best chance of conceiving. Since then I have been doing most of the housework during the day, but thought that when DP got home we would split any housework that needed to be done then 50:50. DP seems to expect me to do the dishes every night for example. I have to ask him to help and even though he hasn’t said anything I think he’s annoyed. AIBU?
