EBay AIBU!

Brain is currently fried so would like opinions please!
I sold a large bundle of toys on EBay for £8. Buyer got an absolute bargain, I set a low buy it now price as I wanted the items out of the way - moving house!
We arranged collection for last Monday, I said I’d be in from 1pm. Nobody turned up so I texted at 5:15 to ask if she was still coming. I got a reply at almost 8pm saying no, she’d had a busy afternoon with work and kids, could we do another time. I said I understood and that was fine, gave her some options. She said she would collect at 2:45 yesterday, but that if she got held up she would ask her nanny to collect on the way home. A little annoying because it was assuming I would wait in all afternoon until early evening, but fine, we were hanging out in the garden anyway. But again no one turned up and she hasn’t contacted me.
So when is it reasonable for me to refund and take it all to the charity shop? We’re moving on Friday, I don’t want to be tied down to being in AGAIN as have lots of errands, bits to do. What’s fair in this situation?!

Do it. She made the arrangements (twice) and then bailed twice.

She probably doesn't even want them now, so you're doing both of you a favour.

Yeah I'd just refund now, she hasn't even had the decency to contact you to let you know she wouldn't be coming...so I'd go ahead, she doesn't sound that arsed

She clearly doesn't want them, or is hoping you'll get so fed up you will drop them to her. Refund her and let the charity shop benefit.

Thanks all! I think I’ll wait until tomorrow and if she hasn’t made contact I’ll refund and take to charity.

Then you will probably get a negative review off her

Quite possibly! Ideally I’d like her to collect. If she doesn’t then refunding and donating is the fairest thing I can think of!

You should never accept payment by PayPal for collection only items.

She should be paying cash on collection as she could, in theory collect the items then claim non receipt. Because you'd have no delivery tracking number she'd be refunded her PayPal payment.

Probably not worth worrying about for this case but certainly worth bearing in mind for any big items.
