Just that really. He's two, and he keeps taking it off when we're home. He does it several times a day when he's playing in the bedroom, would you say this is a sign that he's ready for potty training?

I would definitely give it a try.

It's either that or duct tape.

Give it a shot! What's the harm! My second daughter refused her nappy at exactly 2yrs old and we stopped putting one on her from that day. It was really easy.

I believe that duct tape or a pair of dungarees are the remedy.

And whilst you're in this 'is he isn't he?' phase definitely try this at nap/bedtimes.

He could also just like the 'freedom'. My youngest did this, every chance he got.

He's 5 in 2 weeks, and it hasn't stopped. Will not wear trousers in the house because he wants to be "super fast and they slow him down". And his super hero is called 'naked man'. He takes all his clothes off and runs in the room naked.

Some boys are just odd!

If you want to keep him in nappies, put them on back to front. Grin

No harm in giving it a try. My DS started doing this when he was 2 and a half and within a fortnight he was fully dry during the day.
