AIBU to not want the bum end?

Flaming dog has invaded the sofa yet again and I've ended up with the bum end. I just want love and not toxic dog farts!

I complain and make them turn round.

Then they’ll normally wash or yawn and make me regret turning them.....

I don’t mind the bum end when they are sleeping. To be honest I don’t like either end much, it’s not nice to be licked to death when they’ve just been licking their knob washing themselves.

I;d love my dog to curl up next me but he's an anti social bugger and stays in the conservatory. He has also never done a stinky fart, he farts so infrequently that when he does it makes him jump!

My elderly dog once farted into the pup's ear so hard that her head shot up off the (my!) bed and she spent the next few minutes looking incredibly perplexed as she shook her head. He also farted onto her bone... which she wouldn't go near for a few hours (when usually she carries it everywhere with her, like a weird 'blankie').

I don't think she's forgiven him.

Our dog has ALWAYS slept bum end up on the bed. Even the photos we have of her at two days old show her to be bum end up while all her brothers and sisters were the right way round!

If the farts are that bad, change the food he gets. It's not a given that all dogs do toxic farts; as with us it means something's not agreed with them digestive wise.

I was once woken up by a toxic smell, that was so bad I woke up retching. When I opened my eyes I was face to ass with my old Yorkie, who had stretched out along my pillow. I swear I can still smell it, when I remember. 🤢
