Am I wrong to be irritated by this...I lent my sister a ride on toy for her toddler to use. It was one of those nice wooden and leather ladybug ones. I told her that I would like it back after she'd used it for my youngest to use when she got a bit older, and I'd also like to sell it.
Anyway, my Mum gave me back the toy after our my sister had finished with it and said "it's broken". One of the large screws had come out of the bottom, so the handle comes out of the hole. It's basically unusable.
My sister has not mentioned this toy since. No - sorry it was broken. Also I am a bit annoyed that they did not try to fix it. Her DH is a handyman as well! I just think that if it had been the other way around, I would have felt awful and gone out of my way to get it fixed, or at least given the toy back myself and talked about it with her, instead of not ever mentioning it!
I've tried to find a screw in B&Q but none of them are the right size. My DD is going to get a bit big for it soon. But I think it's more my sister's attitude that's irritated me.
