Just posting for traffic. DD Yr 5 has had a falling out with a friend, as happens. It stems from an argument they had over What's App whilst DH and I were away for the weekend, so we weren't there to police her usage of her phone. DD Has deleted the messages so I can't read what was said. This happened a few weeks ago and although it was supposed to be resolved it hasn't been and it has led to DD being subjected to low level bullying. I have spoken to her severely about her use of What's App and she knows that if further incidents occur we will confiscate her phone indefinitely. I really need to read this exchange of messages as I feel I'm going to have to escalate it but I need to know exactly what part DD has had to play in all this before I know how to proceed. Can anyone help?

My DD started deleting hers purely because her dad had said he read them over previously. He said it didn't matter if she deleted them because he had it wired to his phone so he could see the messages she sent anyway (he can't but she doesn't know this) Maybe just say you can do that and can see them so she need's to come clean what's been said. A little white lie won't hurt

be nice if I could see them in black and white as her friend's parents have seen them so
I'd like to see them too. I'm going to try some of your suggestions now!
