My OH is royally pissing me off at the moment. He has taken to tickling me all the time even though I’ve told him how much I hate it. It’s literally all the time, like we’ll be relaxing in front of the telly and he’ll start prodding me in the ribs and trying to tickle my feet. When I scream at him to stop it just eggs him on more and he thinks it’s absolutely hilarious. Last night I was needing a wee and he pinned me to the bed and was tickling me and then chased me around the room. I was seconds away from wetting myself and I kept telling him to stop it. He’s a 36 year old man for Christ’s sake!
I feel like I can’t have a serious conversation with him about anything anymore as he just starts being silly. I don’t mind having fun and being silly now and again but I don’t find this anything other than annoying and I’ve made it crystal clear to him but he won’t stop.
I’ve name changed as his sister uses this site and she knows my username.

It's a form of assault if you have explicitly said you hate it and you don't want him to do it. It's control and bullying not a harmless game or fun.

Right.

What do you want exactly?

Experiences of posters here who've been tickled when they need a wee?

Hmm

Okey dokey.

My dh did this to me and licking. Yeuch. I made it clear I hated it and he stopped.

I absolutely hate being tickled (and I don't laugh, I just get angry).

Don't wait for him to do it again. Sit down with him and tell him that you hate it and that you don't want him to do it any more. Ask him why he does it as you just can't understand wanting to tickle another person. It's actually quite a creepy thing to do.

Totally agree with Wolfie, I don't like being tickled due to incontinence issues, and I've had a serious conversation with my DD who always wants to play tickling that I don't want to be tickled.

A six year old can understand that, and so can your DH.

Make sure you have a serious sit down conversation at a time other than when he's actually doing it, so that he perfectly understands it isn't part of the 'game'.

If you have already done that, then you need to consider LTB, because it is bullying behaviour if it occurs in full knowledge that it isn't what you want.

YANBU at all. Laughing when you're tickled is just a physical response. It does NOT mean you're having fun. If you've told your DP clearly that you don't like it and he continues to forcibly do it, I consider that domestic abuse.

Being pinned down so I can’t move at all and having my feet tickled until I feel like I’m going to wet myself or throw up every god damn day is just awful. It ruined the evening last night as I got really angry with him afterwards and told him I was sick to death of asking him to stop doing it. He said he was only playing and didn’t mean to upset me.
This morning he started prodding me and tickling me in the bed when our alarms went off and I got really cross with him again. Grrrrrrrr

In that case, you do need to sit down with him and talk to him outside of the tickling situation. Honestly, tickling someone when they know they don't like it is what creepy men do.

Is this a new relationship? Are you living together or married? I pretty much never say "LTB" (things are usually more complicated than that) but if it is a new relationship and this person just won't stop tickling you (because he thinks he's being "fun", "playful", whatever) then it's time to move on.

Gosh, I'm getting quite angry for you.

Catch diarrhoea, he won't tickle you then.

Been together about 2 years and live together but aren’t married or any kids. He never used to do it so I don’t know why he’s started. He does things like hides behind doors and jumps out on me all the time too. It’s like dating a 10 year old and I’m starting to find it incredibly offputting!

Tell him you’ll leave him.
