Niece writing fanfiction

My Dsis has recently discovered my 15 year old DN is writing gay fanfiction and publishing it online. My Dsis is very angry and embarrassed. She has made DN delete all her stories both those online and those not published and delete her account on the fanfiction site. She has taken her tablet on which DN wrote her stories and has banned her from writing. My Dsis sent me a few stories before they were deleted and I have read them. Yes some were explicit in parts but they were great, well written, you could really feel the characters. I read fanfiction myself and my DN's stories were as good if not better than others I have read. My DN has low self confidence and having spoken to her about her writing I can see that the feedback from her work has helped boost her. I have never disagreed with my Dsis over DN, never interfered but in this case I think I should. I think DN should be allowed to continue to write and publish online with caveats and supervision. Wibu to tell my Dsis she is wrong and essentially interfere?
