One year I was dating someone I worked with. I had a massive go at him at the party with a group of people then starting to watch.

This year one colleague who can’t handle their drink.

I had the whole drunken ' I thought you were a real stuck bitch and I've always hated you but you're actually ok' done to me at a party, awkward as I was her line manager at the time.

One year a woman I worked with tried to put a blood orange up her arse.

She also used to eat spiders as some kind of party trick.

Strange woman.

I was horribly drunk at last years' christmas do. I fell backwards off a stool, I told someone senior that I fancied him, I cried...I did not cover myself in glory.

Council night out. One head of department tried to glass another employee. Bit awkward.

Another time was when a colleague got absolutely legless they passed out in a bar.

Neither were me.

I once saw a nurse practitioner with what I at first (from across the room) thought was chocolate on her hands clapping wildly whilst shouting “not just a phrase”.

Reader, the chocolate was shit.

Colleague shagged director in corridor office. Both of them fired before the year's end. I recall feeling quite lonely at my pod come that January.

Unintentionally witnessed my boss getting a blowjob, from a male member of the hotel staff in the gardens (while his wife was very drunk in the function suite). I was only 19 and just wanted a smoke outside while I was texting a bloke I was seeing Blush

I got a very expensive xmas gift left on my desk that year.

And a few years later actually when I bumped in to him at a swingers club Grin

I am well into middle age, and am still a bit mortified that, at age 17, I got trolleyed on Kir Royales at the office christmas do and threw up in the bogs. I was the youngest there by a mile, as it was a small architects' office and I had an after-college job with them. They were all very sweet to me about it, but in retrospect I wonder that none of them thought "let's cut off the teenager's supply of strong drink" at any point.

A punch up that resulted in the police being called and both parties being arrested and taken away. The office was agog on Monday when they both came in, sporting black eyes and split lips, and got hauled straight into the CEO's office alongside HR for a 5 star bollocking. The firm was banned from ever going back to that bar again! They kept their jobs but got formal written warnings though.

Another one was where a very young and very drunk trainee decided to cop off with the bloke she was sitting next to during dinner. Unfortunately passion reigned at the wrong moment as she chose to straddle him and start dry humping right in the middle of the big boss's speech, complete with porn style sound effects. HR asked for a meeting the following Monday morning...

I'm not going to our office Xmas party this year, but the firm I work for now is pretty tame compared to some of my previous employers!

Big Xmas party held at local rugby club, most attendees on their late 30s-70s so not a young rowdy Crown iyswim.

A colleague was getting a drink at the bar when another colleague's husband pinched her arse and grabbed hold of her breasts refusing to let go. She yelled at him to stop groping her and he just laughed. So my colleague threw her drink at him, trying to get him off her. Groping guy then punched her in the face, breaking her nose! At this point her husband ran across the room and dragged groping husband outside, where the two men proceeded to kick the crap out of each other until police arrived.

Never known such a scandal in my workplace, everyone was just gobsmacked. Groping guy's wife came into work after the weekend, said nothing about it and carried on as if nothing had ever happened. She then resigned a month later and moved to Spain with her husband. She must have been utterly mortified, but I can't see why she stayed with him after he sexual lying assaulted and punched a woman in front of 200 friends and colleagues.

50 + year old male director and second in command of our small company shagged a 20 something secretary IN THE TOILETS of the very posh central London restaurant during our Christmas lunch. Apparently she was standing up leaning over the cistern and he did it from behind. Classy Hmm.

Just remembered my Xmas do for my Saturday job as a teenager. I invited my boyfriend and he smoked a spliff outside after drinking a fair bit of red wine.

On the minibus home, he suddenly said 'I'm gonna be sick -' and promptly threw up all over me, my boss and his wife who were sat in front, the seats, the floor... SO embarrassing Blush!

Everyone sat in silence for the rest of the journey, while he drunkenly slurred 'I'm sorry... I'm rilly rilly sorry...' loudly. Next work day my boss said don't worry we've all done stupid things, then passed me the massive cleaning bill for the minibus that had arrived, for BF to pay. Even worse, turned out the driver/owner was the father of a friend of mine, so I got a blow by blow account of how much time it had taken to clean it all and how grim it was. Also I had to chuck my new handbag away as it was full of puke.
