I can't cope anymore!

I'm 38 weeks pg, and am hugely struggling.

I have spd so getting around is hard and I can no longer handle my toddler. She is such hard work and I just can't do it anymore. We have basically stoped leaving the house because I just can't manage her on my own. I just don't have the energy. She runs off or throws herself on the floor and I can't pick her up, she is just too heavy for me.

I have help, dh works but is around evening/weekends. And my parents are awesome, but I still can't do it!!

I am being such a baby and I hate it, I'm normally so strong. I just hurt all the time and am so tired. Wish the baby would come now.

Sorry for the rant, I just feel like people are bored of me moaning in real life.

If you can't you can't.
It is not your toddler s fault but
Get the help to take her out and have quiet time reading her a book later.
In a few weeks you should feel better physically ...tho with newborn too...take all the help you can.

I'm 37+2 with bad SPD and in my third bath of the day so far trying to alleviate the pain so I feel you and I don't have the added burden of a toddler! I've had a good cry at some point almost every day for the last few weeks it really is draining. Especially the sleep deprivation.

I just keep trying to remind myself the end is in sight and that it will get better and it's not permanent but I know that isn't easy to focus on a lot of the time. Hope your little one makes an appearance soon!

TV/ DVD is your friend.

DC loved these DVDs at about the same age.

Oh just realised calling your toddler a burden may have come across horrible... Not what I meant! I just meant it must be a lot of hard work to try and stay normal for her, but I'm sure she's worth it and lovely Blush

ugh. right there with you. I'm 33 weeks with DC3- no SPD (thank god) but just feel wiped out, everything aches, so profoundly exhausted and unmotivated and feel unable to be the mum I want to be with DS1 and 2. This pregnancy just seems so much harder than my last one. Wishing you well. It will improve soon- in your case only 2 weeks to go. Good luck! And don't feel guilty about your toddler. She will be absolutely fine and won't remember any of this.

Thanks everyone.

No worries stumpy she is not that nice at the moment Grin I think she is anxious about the new baby so it's not her fault, just makes life so hard. Dh is on his way home So I have the weekend off!! He can be in charge.

awww 38 weeks is hard going, I remember crying at work because I was frustrated with not being able to do stuff that I used to do anymore. It's good you have good support, take advantage of it, you're almost there

Have you spoken to your midwife? You are technically full term now so they might help you out?
