AIBU?

To ask for craziest children's party tales?

I'm not sure to believe this or not... my sister was at a party this morning for a 6 year old and swears the mum offered alcohol to kids. Parents all politely declined.

Surely my sister has got that wrong and mistaken something for looking like alcohol. Shloer maybe?

Why would parents decline shloer though?

Confused

She's got that wrong
Must have been non alcoholic

Must be wrong, could have been that non alcoholic fruit fizz that comes in the bottles similar to champagne ones.

Is she sure the booze wasn't for the parents? It's fairly common around here to offer wine/Pimm's/baileys to the parents at party's.

That was my first comment... my sister is insisting it was kids she was offering it to.

I'm guessing either she didn't realise it was alcoholic/ or other people didn't realise it wasn't

So strange!

I went to a 5 year old's disco party in the local football club. I sat mostly chatting to my ds's BF's Dad. The DJ started his games, between songs asking for various items, first person gets a prize. DJ asks for a sock, our boys just ignore, few songs later DJ asks for £10 note, we laugh and ignore, more things are asked for, we pay no attention. Then he asks for a mans T-shirt, odd but well if a Dad was happy too so what, another few songs play, the DJ asks for a bra, first child wins the star prize! Took about 30 seconds to find a winner. The hum for the next 10 minutes was did you hear that? what on earth? It was the most talked about party for all the wrong reasons for weeks.

Oh my goodness! Hope you reported him! Even if it wasn't his usual clientele it doesn't take any brains to realise that's not OK

He was paired up with his usual fantastic face painter, this was what they did Confused The party parents seemed quite happy and the group of young good looking more local parents seemed to be really enjoying the games. Who would I report that to?!

"Even if it wasn't his usual clientele it doesn't take any brains to realise that's not OK"

Given the OP stated it took about 30 seconds, it appears it's exactly his clientele. He didn't get a bra off a 5 year old did he

Yes dim comment there Blush didn't even think through that it wasn't even possible a child gave the bra!

Blimey. Children's parties!
