AIBU?

To be annoyed by DCs grandparents lack of interest?

ExDPs parents have two children. I live half hour away from them with five of their grandchildren, including a newborn. Their other grandchildren live an hour away from them and are aged 3 and 6. They travel to see the other grandchildren several times per week, have them overnight, take them on holiday and know all about them. They know nothing about my DC. I've told them they're welcome to visit any time and to be in touch as much as they like. They haven't even been to see the baby and he's 8 weeks old, yet have posted countless photos of them with the other grandchildren. AIBU to be annoyed by their lack of effort? They didn't make much more when I was with DP either. I feel like unfriending them from Facebook because it's hurtful and feels like they're rubbing it in that they love those children but not mine.

Why is your ExP not facilitating the relationship with his children and his parents?

That's awful; you're on your todd with 5 children?

So if their arse hole of a son has walked away from five children, wouldn't they want to get involved with your children even more
Id call them out on this and ask why.

I should imagine he's told them I'm making things difficult, which I'm not. But I've clearly said to them that they're welcome any time and they haven't bothered.

It's shocking..i would ask them straight, Why they don't bother? Just to know what their reaction and answer is.

Could they be embarrassed by their son’s behaviour? I’m not sure I could face you if my son had walker out on you and 5 kids, especially when the 5 includes a tiny newborn
