Saturday Night, Fed Up.

Had planned to go to a concert tonight with friends however due to having to replace my boiler last week unexpectedly ive had to bow out.

DS is away for the weekend with xh, friends are either at concert or with their other halves. I'm sitting here feeling like a sad potato!

Don't know whats my problem tonight, i normally enjoy a day to myself, do all the odd jobs i don't usually have the energy for after running around with ds all day.

Ladies please talk some sense into me!

That’s so horrible for you. A night in when you’re meant to be out is never any fun and to have spent your money for tonight on a boiler is just plain unfair! You can’t dvdn appreciate a boiler the way you can a new handbag or pair of shoes!
So what are you watching on tv? Do you have a glass of wine? Chocolates?
Are you snuggly in your pjs?

Feeling your pain here too.

I’ve just put 2yo DD to bed, am binge watching blue bloods and waiting on a chippy being delivered. DP is a lorry driver and had a break down earlier which put him about 4 hours behind schedule. Not expecting him til back til about 10pm so enjoying the peace for now.

Having one of those evenings also. Pjs on, Strictly watched, dinner eaten. No idea what to do next.

Thank you for your replies, found a hair mask in an old Glossy box (I last ordered one of those over a year ago so no idea how long it's been there) so made use of the new boiler and washed hair, used that! Think I might follow suit and see if I can find a good film or box set for tonight.
