AIBU?

To be harassing my cats

I work from home and am very affectionate, the result is my cats are constantly being groped, petted, stroked, belly-rubbed, ear massaged, i mean every time I get up I'm in their face.

My question is am I actually harassing them? What if they dont like it?

Seriously? It's a cat. If they don't like what you're doing they'll just bugger off somewhere else.

If you're following them around the house and not letting them get away, yabu.

Don't worry, they'll soon let you know. I take it you've never been on the receiving end of an angry set of claws? 🐱 😮😭😆

On the days I work from home, I pester the hell out of my cats.

It's payback for their "4am claw-alarm clock".

this is me.
i work from home and my big baby (male ragdoll, i have his sister too) is snuggled right up against my knee as i type.
they get snuggled, kissed, picked up, baby-talked to all day !

Me too - first week on maternity leave and the poor cat has probably had enough of me already! It's her fault for being so cute.

Yeah, a cat can make its feelings very painfully plain.

I have to wait for fluffy to get nice and sleepy, then I sneak up quietly to his chair and give his fluffy belly a kiss.
