Anyone want to join me in a pity party?

Oh dear. I just cried because OH suggested he pop to Tesco to do the weekly shop and leave me at home with DD. Newborn DD pooed all over my hands when I was changing her earlier and I've just dropped an entire pasta bake!
Anyone else got stories of a bad day to make me feel less silly as I hide in the bathroom crying over my lost pasta?

My 7 mo ds woke up for an hour at 2.30 and again at 4.30 and then again at 5.30. He had a nappy explosion which resulted in me being covered in it and wanting to cry. I stuck him under the shower with his outfit! Then had to push bits of poo down the sink. He is currently eating spaghetti hoops and screaming in between each mouthful because I am unable to fill the spoon up quickly enough. I have the biggest bags under my eyes and I'm getting married at the weekend so am stressed anyway. I'm having a glass of wine, I think you should join me op xx

At work DH looking after DD she was about a year old, she had pooed got it in her hairs, made him want to throw up, so he had left it for me baked on by then.

I have changed my youngest numerous times today and he has chucked up several times too.
He finally did an explosive nappy which involved a lot ot wet wipes kitchen roll and baby lotion. He was smelling lovely in clean pyjamas.
I then went to wash my hands and picked him up to carry him downstairs whereupon i realised he had exploded for a second time and it was oozing everywhere again.
They never tell you about these days in the child rearing books !

I will join.
Baby has another cold after only 1 week out of 8 cold free after starting nursery.
I've been feeling ropey all day, sore throat and a dodgy tum. Thought I'd eaten something bad.
Got home from work, dh takes dd to activity so i deal with massive pooey nappy and bath manky baby.
Just got snuggled in for an early night and poor wee one has just done a huge vomit all over himself and me and gave me a fright. I thought he was choking there was so much!
Thankfully it missed the bed but I can't have a shower so I had a quick wash at the sink.
But now all I can smell is like and it's not helping my stomach. Looks like we have another bug Sad.

You have a newborn and you made pasta bake, dropped or burnt or not, that's an achievement!

I got soaked on the way to work, had a nonstop crazy busy horrible day at work, got out late so missed my train, then got even more soaked on the way home. (15 minute walk from the train station).

i have really bad eczema on my hands. My puppy was pulling on the lead so hard earlier it started to bleed. i let go of the lead in shock and she ran off at 100 miles an hour. Thankfully she ran straight into the arms of a stranger! 🙈

I'll join please, really bad few months (DH's work dried up, a series of car issues and the resulting money problems caused by those things and also some health stuff) nicely capped off by the car dying completely this weekend (just in time for DH's first lot of work in months which he needed the car for) and the news that it's likely to cost more to fix than the bloody thing is worth. I'm about ready to disappear headfirst into a bottle of vodka except I can't because DH is at the other end of the country til Friday (in a hire car we couldn't afford) and I am in sole charge of DC. Looking forward to bedtime so I can have a cry without upsetting DC Sad Flowers to everyone else having a shit time.

Ex 'D'P lifted up DD's legs once to change her nappy. She was at chest level with him. I ran into the lounge from the kitchen to hysterical screams (from him). She had done an explosive poo and covered him! It was all over him, even dripping from his nose. He was having a bad day, but I thought it was hilarious Grin.

Don't hide crying, you have a newborn, your family needs to accept that tears are inevitable right now so at least you can cry in comfort on the sofa! 😊

Also Tesco deliveries are your friend. Make sure you put at least 5 packets of biscuits on there for yourself. X

Me! Had a terrible day at work, then when I got home the 2 year old did a massive poo in his nappy. I took him in the bathroom to change him, and he stood up and pooed on the floor, then after I had cleaned him and the bathroom he pooed on the bath mat.

He's been a bit constipated....I feel that I may have overdone it with the fruit!!!

Wine all round.
