AIBU to be mad at DH over this?

Have been in our current house 3 years and are looking to move. We have just had to supply our ID to estate agents etc. When we moved in I sorted out everything - did nearly all of the chasing etc with solicitors, and sorted out all the direct debits etc for council tax, energy suppliers and so on. Have gone to send off our ID and just discovered that DH passport is out of date (which to be fair we both thought would be the case) but also he forgot to change the address on his driving licence!!! So now he basically we have to faff trying to find other forms of id at this address. AIBU to be a bit p**ed off here? Surely he should have sorted that one thing himself?? Also not sure what to do about the licence now. He'll need it when we apply for the new mortgage but when you go online to change the address it now asks when you moved to the current address. I know you can get a massive fine for not changing it so don't know what to do!

I didn't change my driving license address for a couple years as i wasn't driving. I moved three times before I changed it on my license and did start driving in that time. I had to declare all changes and didn't get a fine.
YANBU for being annoyed tho.

I've just changed my license - paper to photo, change of name after marriage (10 years ago) and change of address. All vert simple. No fine. But I haven't been driving. He needs to sort his DL ASAP and then sort his passport.

Thanks. I'll just tell him to change it and hope we don't get fined then. All all bunged up with a cold so maybe feeling a bit sensitive but am just annoyed that I feel I have to do EVERYTHING. I'm not his Mum!

Oh no, didn't realise you get fined for not changing your address! It's been on my to do list for absolutely ages but I just haven't gotten round to it. Will I be fined? I need to change paper to photo, change married name and address. And I HAVE been driving. Panicking now!

You CAN get fined. My DH didn't change address on his for over 10 years.....and was driving. I told him you COULD be fined.....so he changed it. He didn't get fined.

Sounds like other people have changed it all without being fined Jules. Think its more of prob if you get a ticket or pulled over by police and its wrong. I hope thats the case anyway and hubby doesn't get fined. We don't have a spare grand lying around funnily enough. I will blow my top if this causes us a massive financial hit!

Thanks, we don't have a spare grand either! You're NBU to be annoyed, especially when you're about to move!

I think it's what wears me down the most, being in charge of everything. Sure I can just leave it to him, but the consequences when things don't get done/happen also rebound on me.
It is tiresome.
