AIBU?

to get a take away even though I've had McDonalds AND american pancakes today?

So this morning I thought I'd make us all a nice breakfast, seeing as how we had salad planned for lunch and a healthy chili for dinner planned.

I made american pancakes, with chopped banana and maple syrup.

We then went out for what was meant to be a couple of hours. At 3pm I was ravenous but we were still out and behind schedule so I had a mcdonalds for lunch as it was quick and easy.

I was then going to go food shopping but DC is ill, teething, full of a cold and vomited. DH has gone out (to friends, the three of us were meant to go but I decided DC needed a snuggles and his own bed night).

So I've just got DC to sleep and need to do the housework I didn't do because he just wanted cuddles. We have very limited food in the house. I'm feeling sorry for myself but I'm aware of how unhealthy I've been all week.

So vipers of mumsnet. Make the decision for me whilst I fold washing!

The only question you should be asking is: Chinese or Indian?

It's one day - go for it. Sounds like cooking is the last thing you need.

Prepare for feeling rough! We had fish and chips Thursday, a curry last night and burgers this evening. Hard to explain why but none of this was planned but it is very unlike our born and I am feeling BIG!

My logic would definitely be in for a penny in for a pound in these circumstances!

You have a sick child and housework?? You need a takeaway to keep you going!

Personally, I'd have tandoori king prawns, a chilli naan, saag aloo and a large bottle of cobra. Really want that now Shock

Go on then. I'll let you off.

Don't even feel guilty about it. At all.

Just enjoy not cooking, do the housework and watch some crap on TV/Netflix

Start tomorrow with a big glass of water and lemon and whatever else you deem healthy.

What did you go for ?!

If I did that I would probably be up half the night feeling sick. However that knowledge would likely not stop me.

Go for it! We had macdonalds last night and they accidentally gave us 3 packs of mozzarella sticks...ate them all, felt sick but it was so worth it.

Tomorrow is another day!
