To expect what I paid for? Re amazon

I'm a ta in a school it's the dreaded book day on Thursday after chatting with the teacher and other ta we decided to dress as cat in the hat and thing 1 and thing 2. Other ta has sorted out wigs and I said I'd order t shirts from amazon rather than go into town and try and find red t shirts I ordered the shirts Saturday and paid extra delivery to have them delivered today so I can take them into school tomorrow so the other ta who starts earlier than me can have hers ready to wear to school on Thursday. Home from work today and they haven't been delivered yet it's now half 8 so they won't be here today. If they do come tomorrow I can't get them to her before work, if they don't come tomorrow I'm not sure what to do.

I've had Amazon deliveries at 11 pm.

The seller has just emailed me to say there has been some issue and it will be the 2nd at the latest if it doesn't come tomorrow it will be too late, and if it doesn't come tomorrow it means I have to go and try and find 2 red t shirts from somewhere I've got things to do after work tomorrow and really don't have time to be searching for t shirts.
Of the seller had contacted me before this I could have sorted out an alternative.

If you have a matalan near you I just bought a red mens the shirt in small for my ladybird costume. Was £4. I know that doesn't help with your Amazon problem but thought it might help.

Thanks I've been to matalan today and got red t shirts.
