To keep ds(4) off nursery longer...

We had a 3 day half term last week but DS was off nursery the two days before that with ear/throats infection and a cough.
His ears are still blocked so he is quite deaf but not sore. He is still coughing a lot through the night though. He kind of sleeps through coughing but is restless. He has coughing fits for around 35-45 mins at a time 4/5 times a night.

Aibu to keep him off again tomorrow? During the day he is okay. A bit tired and coughs but it's more the waking him up I struggle with...

Definitely not U at all. Keep him home just for the fun of it if you want to, make the most of the flexibility while it is just nursery.

If you don't feel that he is up to it, then of course you should keep him off.

You know your child best.

If you are worried about his attendance, then please don't, as he is only 4.
