An article about women returning to work after having kids has made me feel immensely inadequate.
According to the Sunday Times Magazine, one woman quit her job when she became a mum. Nothing unusual but then
" She promoted herself to home CEO, volunteered at school, became a magistrate and wrote a short lived blog... "
BECAME A MAGISTRATE???!!!
Just like that?????!!!!!
I find it hard enough juggling my TA job with having dd and a home life.
And i know she didnt just become a magustrate "just like that" and it must have taken some training. She was director of brand and communication at Deloitte before kids.
I do want to get a good job but unlike these women my career was shit before having kids.
Aibu to be in awe and wonder how to be this succesful career wise. Do such returnship schemes include career novices?
