I wasn't convinced just by the look on her face, but if you look at him, he is grinning at everyone then just before he turns back he turns slightly to Melania and his cheek drops, no more smiling and he says something, then turns back round looking pretty pleased with himself.

Without that, I could have believed Melania just had aching cheeks from all the enforced smiling, but there is something sinister about the sudden drop of his cheek.

Why in the world would she be happy? Regardless of whether they can make any of the sexual assault cases stick she's with a man that's cheated on his past two wives, talked about trying to cheat on her, and has been accused of sleeping with prostitutes. I'm sure she feels completely stuck and furious.

I think people are reading way more into this than there is. She may not be happy who actually knows? But in that instance it could be anything. It could be she hates him and smiled because he was looking. It could be that she was in high heels and a dress in Washington in January in the rain and it was bloody freezing and ridiculously boring so she smiled when he turned round commenting on the joke about the rain then went back to freezing and miserable when he turned bac .
I find it highly unlikely he said anything horrid to her with so many people around him. If nothing else it would get out somehow. Someone would spill about it

She married a man with past form, and she married him for his money. It's not as if she didn't know what she was marrying and yet she did anyway. But to suggest he said something nasty to her during a public event is ridiculous even by his standards.

I think people are looking into this far too much, give her/them a break. Honestly imagine being in that situation, millions of people watching, loads of former presidents and high up people footsteps away, I'd feel damb uncomfortable!

Not more of this crap. How many threads do we need? They have been married for what? 11 or 12 years. If she was so fucking unhappy, she's had plenty of time to leave him if that's what she wanted.

Under normal circumstances I doubt Trump would have won (I certainly wouldn't have voted for him) but Clinton would have been horrendously bad as POTUS for so many reasons. So why can't we at least give it longer than a few days to judge his actions.
