Sodexo childcare voucher crisis- - anyone else??

Anyone else having problems making payments due to this providers 'IT ISSUES'?

I've been waiting 2 weeks for them to sort it and pay £900 to my provider, I believe thousands could be affected, like me, and have their childcare provider (understandbly) chasing. They just have a call centre that takes a message and nothing happens.

It's a nightmare!! Where will we all find the money to cover the gap this close to Xmas?

Have you tried to contact them in the last 2 weeks?

It is currently a 25 minute hold time and you are put through to an outsourced called centre that just take a message

I'm a provider and had a short delay in receiving my vouchers in both Dec and January but it was only by a few days.

I can't access the website to check at all but got the email confirmation and money. In fact Jan went in my account yesterday and is usually paid out 1st so given the bank holidays etc is on time.

I'm a provider and have had emails from them saying their changing systems, please bear with them. So I guess they'll sort it out soon but need to catch up

similar problem, and i'm really annoyed. last two month payments were super late (more than 1 week), complained, they promised to call back but nothing happrns

Yep, no payment went though to childcare provider in Oct. One went through in Nov only to be cancelled the same day. Dec payment should have gone through as a 'faster payment ' but again nothing. I emailed sodexo yesterday but have yet to receive a reply. Not impressed!

Yes, our old provider was childcare plus - fast, efficient and friendly - we moved last month and low and behold when I log on to childcare plus my vouchers are now held by Sodexo and have been having various payment problems for weeks. Thankfully new provider very laid back and happy to wait for payment - phew!!!

Latest update- they have paid my vouchers but too late and into the wrong account. Total nightmare as my provider is not very understanding and we have had to pay £900 to cover the voucher deficit this term which we hadn't budgeted for. Let alone thus close to Xmas. Seems the industry isn't regulated and there is no where to complain to and Sodexo aren't really bothered. Great.

I do childcare admin for an employer, who have also just had their previous supplier bought up by Sodexo. Appalling service, wrong data, late payments, don't reply to queries, and apologies about ICT problems on every page of the employer portal. New portal is very confusing for employers which doesn't help.
Do not go near them if you have any choice.
Otherwise it's who's shouting loudest I'm afraid to get problems sorted. They do have a freephone number:08003287411.
