Back story: DH and his sister fell out in Jan 2015. She threatened to never see me, DH or our 2 DD's (13 & 7) again , and she's pretty much kept to her word. Fast forward to Xmas last year, she turns up on our doorstep a few days before Christmas laden down with a large bag of gifts for each of my DD's and a few gifts for OH and I. It was totally unexpected, we had sent them a card but didn't plan to do presents. So I rushed out and bought her, her OH and 2 DSs presents.
This year, after having no contact whatsoever, I want to text her to say please don't buy us any presents. She has form for spoiling my DDs at Xmas when taking little interest in them the rest of the time, even before the falling out. My DDs rarely mention her, thought I think they do miss their cousins. Should we still buy a small gift for her DSs (18 & 15) as they have nothing to do with the situation or just not do gifts at all? Thanks
