To ask how on earth do you store this type of toy?

I have a few. All the little pieces come off if I put it up like a book on a shelf (obviously!). Of course I can lay them flat, however I'm happy to hear any clever solutions!

Lay them flat on inaccessible shelf so you don't spend half your life finding the pieces all over the flat......or is that just me?

I keep the pieces in a clear plastic food bag and the board flat. We have a of of pieces kept together in a box and boards are stored separately.

Flat on a shelf, and in document wallets for the inevitable time your child pulls out one from the middle of the stack, causing peg puzzle chaos as all the others come raining down too...

Tuffbags.
They are tough plastic wallets which don't rip and break. I put the jigsaw in and then zip it up. I add ribbon to the zip to make it easier for my 18 month old to open.

At the mo ours are in a box.
Everything is messed up so you can never find the pieces you want. You have to practically do all the puzzles at the same time to try to get all the pieces.

Ours go in a trofast drawer. All the loose pieces in the bottom to all of them then the flat boards on top.

We fit about 5 into a shallow trofast drawer.

Ours are in a drawer glittery but we have the same issue.

Kids want to do a puzzle but end up having to do 10 puzzles. Keeps them occupied. I love my puzzle drawer

I have always just used document wallets - this sort of thing - you can normally pick them up in pound shops/post offices/WH Smiths etc.

I buy a metre of Velcro on eBay for about 1.50 inc postage and just snip it into pieces. Have seen the actual Velcro dots in Tesco before too but much pricier.

Yeah! It's a pretty good introduction to zips actually! I tried using the normal document wallets but they ripped / split etc and the zips often came off. I have just dug these out if our loft for DD2 and they are all still in one piece, working perfectly.
