I don't see why it should be.

God, how awful, I do understand, lots of sympathy. It isn't your fault, of course not. That damn tea cup, how dare it? Just insane and unfair.

Completely your fault, and you are being unreasonable. You're not a SAHM with rowdy toddlers at your feet, you're at work

how dare you make this SAHM v WOHM, that is just typical

Poor you, I've never been in this situation, thankfully, as I always drink my tea in time but I really feel for you. Be strong and don't let it put you off boiling up that kettle again, plenty more teas in the pot

I think you need to learn how to face up to your responsibilities.
Have you considered counselling?
You need to start considering the needs of the cup of tea alongside your own needs, IMO.

it is now very cold

do I throw it away or look at it in disgust?

I think I may have to go home sick

You'd feel differently if you'd had a home birth, you know.

Surely there's someone responsible for this who owes you compensation for your unnecessary suffering?

these should be able to help you but you'll have to pretend the tea was hot and the desk fell apart and you were badly scalded.

I would recommend going with a celebrity endorsed compensation firm, sooo much more believable.

Bung him in the micro for a minute and see if you can get back to speaking terms at least.

Who wouldn't want an affair with PG monkey? He's adorable!!

Strap him to the front of a LD truck to see if he's really sorry.

A friend of mine went through this pretty recently. She's still struggling to come to terms with it but she said that the cold tea support line was a big help for her.

Well I don't think it matters that it is cold as it was made with formula (yuk), had it been made with far superior Breast Milk then it really really would be a complete tragedy!

I'm sorry to read that your cup of tea is exhibiting unreasonable behaviour in not considering your needs and the many tedious interruptions you must have had to endure before you could reach for said cup of tea.

Naughty cup of tea. Go and sit on the chair in the corner, and don't come back until you're sorry.

Well, I've said it before and I'll say it again: that cup of tea needs a strict routine.
Or you'll end up being a martyr to it all your life

Or maybe you're doing 'controlled cooling'?
