Guess who has badly bruised her LEFT thigh? Yep, that would be me. I know it's the summer Olympics at the moment but I thought I would try a winter sport and perform a one-person Luge down the stairs.
The postman knocked the door and we were still in bed. I got up, stuck my dressing gown on (fat lot of help that was!) and headed out the bedroom whilst trying to tie the robe as I was butt naked underneath. I remember stepping onto the top stair and then I started my performance, straight down to the bottom of the stairs in a supine position, robe billowing out at the sides and offering no protection at all. Dan (our lovely pooch) was lying at the entrance to the living room which is at the bottom of the stairs and just looked at me and yawned! Managed to pull myself together enough to answer the door - which thankfully, although it has a glass panel down the middle, you cannot see properly through it - the poor postie would have had hell of a shock seeing me LUGEING (?) towards him, butt naked at a good 40 miles per hour. 
Crawled back upstairs and went back to bed for another few hours. Just had a look and there is a bruise and one hell of a carpet burn on my butt cheek - oh and it really hurts too!

So far so good.
Have yet to partake in any domestic Olympic sports.

Tiggeryoubastard sadly no, apparently I did not have very good deportment and they didn't like my 'natural looking' costume which they also advised me 'did not fit very well'
