Sports Day fever

It was my dd's sports day this week. I overheard another mum from her class comment that her daughter had been off school the previous day and still had a high fever in the morning but had been insistent that she wanted to attend sports day. Well great, her daughter didn't miss sports day but now my daughter is ill and it's the finals of a sports competition today that she'll have to miss out on completing in.
Aibu in thinking that if you have a fever you should stay home and not spread your germs around school.

Your DD has probably picked it up, from the same source, as her DD, whilst they were indoors.

There's all sorts going around at the moment, unless she was breathing on your DD and sharing a drink, you can't pinpoint the source.

Of course you can't pin point the source but if you know your child is infectious, sending them to school is irresponsible.
