To not know which washing machine program to use

At a quick count, my washing machine has 11 main dial settings, coupled with either speed or eco buttons (a Bosch machine) - giving 33 options.

Of those, I probably use 2 - ie easy care, on the speed setting.

My first machine had something like A-G settings, and I always used C.

Why do simple things have to get so complex? Isn't life hard enough?

I've literally only ever used settings hot and normal on mine

I only ever regularly use 3 or 4 on mine - 40 deg, 60 deg, and delicates and woollens. Though do occasionally use the 90 deg for e.g. white towels or to give the empty machine a clean.

I've had my drier for ages, and hardly ever use it now, but it only has 2 settings, high and low heat. Can't stand over complicated appliances.

Ditto microwaves - have had mine ages and it's v simple - cook or defrost. Dread having to get a complicated new one with umpteen settings.

Mine gets the "extra rinse, time saving, 30 degrees wash" for EVERYTHING (except anything woolly, then it gets the "extra rinse, time saving, delicate cold wash")

So far I've not damaged or shrunk anything, so I'm guessing I've figured it out and all the other million options are useless Grin
