aibu to cook or not to cook Sunday lunch?

Me and DP have a deal, if he plays golf on a Sunday I don't stand and cook a huge Sunday lunch as we all won't be sitting down together. Invariably, me and DC plan a mini adventure and go out for the day instead.

Today DD has an event at Brownies and I fancy roast pork for lunch so that's what we're having even though DP is at a golf competition. MIL waltzes into out house unannounced and says "oh good, you're cooking for once!"

I cook from scratch five nights a week. On a Monday I cook three or four meals and freeze them. So it probably looks like convenience food to her.

DP told her to leave. AIBU to want to pack up and leave country without telling her?

Why does it matter what MIL thinks? Unless she's paying your bills or giving you a roof over her head tell her to do one, cheeky cow.

No YANBU and I'm glad your DP spoke up for you.

YABU wanting to pack up and leave the country that's so much work,we'll have a whip round and get you a 1 way ticket to Mars for your MIL now that's a much better idea.

Mil said cooking for once and got asked to leave over reaction I think.
I would of just said cheeky cow and carried on with my day.
