To worry about kids in year 4 running across the road

I'm parent of year four twins, on the couple of days I work drive my two to school.
As we live in NW London bit of a nightmare but need car for work, rest of week we walk too school although it's around 25 mins.
Last week saw one of the boys in DD class run across the road in front of the school narrowly missing being hit by car and today have seen another child in same year run across a busy dual highway alone and oblivious to traffic, he was late and didn't look at cars at all.
Should I mention to school as I'm worried, want reasonable opinions
Thanks

I have mentioned to school when a kid in on a bike swerved in front of my car. If you don't and there's a fatality you would never forgive yourself.

Yes, tell the school. At worst they do nothing (which is not your fault) but hopefully they will take it seriously.
My son is in year 4, at his school all the children receive 6 weeks 'kerbcraft' sessions, the Kerbcraft lady comes in and takes them out in groups, along with parent helpers, to teach them how to cross the road safely. But we live in Wales, I don't know if that's a UK wide scheme.
Also, is there any chance of a lollipop lady/man? At the very least on the road right outside the school? Maybe the school should look into that.
