I'm watching question time and she is literally making me cringe.
Is it just me?

Oh she is pompous (and not very good)

I don't actually even listen to what she is saying as her delivery feels like a party political broadcast by the cbeebies party.

Oh dear, the guy with the hat 😜

I met her a while back and was impressed with her in person, but subsequently every time I've heard her on radio or television my good opinion has been eroded a little bit more. Very disappointing.

I've met her in person and she's every bit as pompous as she comes across on TV

Referring to Chris Bryant as "darling" was totally patronising. I find her really irritating generally.

Guy with the hat must have been doing it for a bet!

I agree.

But then I feel anti-feminist because I realise that I have higher expectations of women in politics than I do of men.

Nods in agreement.

she must be capable or she wouldn't have such a senior position, but she does channel Mrs T a little

Dh met with her recently and she called him "love". He is not a fan of her.

Oh ffs, I meant hat guy.

Report
Chippednailvarnish · 07/04/2016 23:08

I don't think I do have higher expectations of women, it's just her.

Ruth Lea doesn't make my teeth itch!

I remember when she used to be on "this morning" with Richard and Judy. She was crap then too. I don't remember her doing political stuff on there tho.

Confession: I've been furrowing my brow thinking "Mr T's wife was in politics?!"

I've worked it out now.
