Yes probably BU posting that here!

ExP was promising to buy a birthing pool for the birth of our 2nd DC due in June, but has decided he won't unless I go halves with him.
Backstory- EA relationship, I left him in November after a disastrous trip to Oz with his awful family for his DB's wedding.
Since then, he's bought me out of our family house and I've bought a run down little house, which is nearly ready for me and DCs to move into, I've been staying at my DM 's house with the kids in the meantime.
He still owes me £500 from my share of house. He has been off work with stress/depression since Nov. Still earns 3x my salary even when off sick.
He's spat his dummy out this weekend (he's been to London with DS to see his family) because I dared to ask when he's paying the child maintenance this month. Apparently I'm selfish and tactless Hmm and want 'the shirt off his back and his soul'.
Seriously sick of this.

So, I'm after a birthing pool! Smile
Anyone know of any for sale at a reasonable price (I'm skint. Work PT, have 2 dcs)

Sorry for the moan. I just feel the less I can accept his offers (and subsequent withdrawal of said offer or massive guilt trips), of 'help' the better!

I think I still have mine in the attic.
Let me have a check this week and if you pay the postage you can have it for nowt 😄
And get on to the CMA about him shirking paying for his kids.

I got told by midwife paddling pools were too shallow, which I understand as I had a water birth with DS (in hospital) and needed to be upright on knees Grin

Taken pleasure in texting exP not to worry about buying a pool, I'll 'sort it' Smile

If it helps, I loaned one from this company: www.waterbabybirthingpoolhire.co.uk and they were really good. The price includes all the liners and connectors and pumps etc - if you get a pool secondhand you usually have to get a new liner, might need a pump etc so I found this option easier! IIRC it includes the courier postage too. PS I don't work for them Grin and as it happens my baby was born before my husband managed to get the pool filled!
