[Have posted this in chat but posting here for traffic too]

If you have done either, can you direct me where to find some good resources that I can read or use? I really fancy doing this alongside a stress course I am attending to help me cope better with my current issues/feelings. I have googled but can't find anything that seems to jump out at me so any recommendations would be great :)

Google Sandy Newbigging and/or David Hamilton.

Sandy has written some lovely books on meditation and mind calm and has online courses/sessions too.

I've been using headspace for a year. I actually have a code for two months free if you'd like it?

Google this for a free pdf. download of a traditional approach, "thich nhat hanh miracle of mindfulness pdf"

If you prefer a more modern approach, try this www.headspace.com/andy-puddicombe and look at his TED talks and stuff on youtube.

There are also kazillions of one week free apps like Calm and you tube videos for all sorts of stressbusting.

If you are under the wellbeing service they might be able to refer you to a short course on the nhs
I did a 6 week one and they provided the meditation CD and all the supporting help sheets etc.

I do Kelee meditation (www.thekelee.org), which is a non-religious form of meditation. It's quite tricky as you have to empty your mind completely but it works for me.

I keep finding myself today taking deep breaths - the panic ridden kind that you blow out. It sucks. Majorly. I will give that a look up Bumshkawahwah
