What time does Harry Potter World close?

Dd's birthday is at the end of Feb half term. She wasn't sure what she wanted to do but has now decided on Harry Potter studios tour.

But I've just been on the site and there is no availability until 6pm! I didn't realise you have to book so far in advance but it's half term I suppose.

Is this a really bad time to go? Will we have enough time to see everything?

We went several years ago, we had a 10am in the morning slot and we stayed until late, about 5ish. We still felt that it wasn't long enough, we spent about an hour and a half in the gift shop! I wouldn't go that late personally, there is just so much to see.

We went and had a 10.30 time slot, the place closed at 7.30.

We were there the whole time, and only left because we wanted plenty of time in the gift shop.

Anything after noon is way too late to arrive I think.

I think you'd feel a little rushed at that time.

We went around 1pm and were in there for 5 hours, we only left when we did because we had the train to catch.

Bugger. Should have booked earlier.

Dd really wants to go on her birthday as you open the doors. We have actually been before for dd1's birthday but it was quite a few years ago and I don't really remember how long we spent.

Wondering if they will let us in a bit earlier? IMO at these timed things sometimes they don't pay too much attention to the time on your ticket...?

Definitely not long enough IMO. We arrived for 9:30 tour and left about 4:30. It is fantastic!

They are open till 10pm. I suppose one way round is to get there early, do the gift shop first and see if we can get in the queue a bit earlier. It's either that or not go at all!

Definitely not long enough. Take her on a different day and tell them it's her birthday? They also get a special badge Smile made ds's day!

There's no other day we can go unfortunately. We are away for most of half term.

I doubt they will let you in any earlier. When we went they were going along the queue and asking anyone with a later time to leave the queue.

We had a 6pm entrance.. it was incredible. No queues for the broomsticks or butterbeers, everyone had a laid back stroll and the gift shop was near silent at the end. We went back for dad's birthday at 11am and I was shocked at the difference in crowds. We said we would go late again next time. 4 hrs is about enough!
