Fffs so my work has royally cocked up my KIT days in my payslip and instead of paying me a daily rate of my normal pay, they've given me 1/5th of statutory mat pay I.e 1/5 of £138 per week. So for my two kit days (God knows where the other ones I worked are?!) I have the total sum of £6.77 (after they deducted pretty much the same amount of OMP whatever the fuck that is?) to do me until the end of January!!! WTAF! Thank God I have a supportive husband and savings,but wtf?! What if I didn't? Ridiculous, and they (payroll) can't do anything until Monday and even then it won't be actioned until end January pay. Grrrrrrrrrrrr

Omp = occupational maternity pay, ie what your employer pays. They should really give you an advance as it's their error. Kit day rules are a bit weird though - there's no set rate.

Omp will be in addition to smp - perhaps company doesn't pay omp on kit days?
