am i being unreasonable to be pissed off with repair man.....came last wednesday....cant repair it need a part....can come back saturday to do it....ok thats fine (waited most of wednesday for him to arrive after working all night tuesday)....saturday comes....wait all day no sign of him, phone the office to be told he is coming monday....grrr....so now its monday, nearly 3pm and im still waiting....the house stinks of dirty washing, i have no clean work uniforms, no clean towels, im livid and to cap it all im working tonight with nothing to wear....i would phone them for a right bollocking but i dont want to make him not come at all....he has my number so you would think he would call....and its a big reputable company....steam coming from my ears!!!

its just so annoying.....when i asked what time he would be here the office said between 8 and 6.....i asked for an estimated time she said 'the slots are all booked'..'hes fitting me in'..i asked how do you book a slot when you only give 'between 8 and 6'..... she appeared to be flummoxed by that.....useless!

How frustating for you. I'm with mama. Definitely complain. I've never understood why businesses seem like making themselves unpopular. By that I mean theyve no doubt kissed goodbye to any further custom from your good self and no doubt you've told people IRL about this fiasco, so they've also kissed goodbye to their customers, too.

I have mine covered/insured with domestic and general, you ring them they give you a claim number and the repair centers number and they come out, usually within a couple of days and they text an approximate time as well
costs a bit but worth it

i have cover with British gas....pay thru the nose for it.....he has turned up now at 5.20pm......but thats after he phoned me and said he would come tomorrow!!!!!!......i said ' i waited all day i want it done now '....bearing in mind its up to 6pm.....i said 'im on nights and would actually like to go to bed tomorrow after being up over 24 hours'....am gonna make a big complaint tomorrow . i am now letting my husband deal with him as im gonna blow a gasket (hes just got in from work...poor bloke dunno whats hit him!)
