why is there no longer an option to have Mumsnet Classic in the options under the Customise button?

I don't want pages, I want one long thread of up to 1,000 messages.

What are the arguments for pages??? I just cannot imagine unless it is to do with number of clicks on the website and therefore advertising revenue

I want to be able to highlight op's posts and my posts so that they are easy to find.

If I advanced search a poster, I want to be taken to their first post in a thread, not simply directed to the op.

Why is it so hard to find all these refinements after having to re-register following Hacker Gate?

Also, the way I had it set up before, I could hide any thread I wasn't interested in directly from the Active Threads page.

Now I have to open a thread before I can hide it. So that's bollocks too and more clicks for HQ to count in to their number of clicks per day/week/month stats .

For instance, there is a thread in Chat entitled "I hate being a Mum". I have no interest in reading it as its been done hundreds of times before and I don't have anything to say to the op. So why can't I just hide it?

Maybe put this in site stuff?

My posts are highlighted so I don't know why you can't do it. I did it under customise above.

I agree with the hide thread though, would like to be able to do that without clicking on it.
