It says in your second link its pronounced Absidee.

Bit odd. Bit like Nevaeh. Not something I would even consider.

Neither...the h is silent. It's actually pronounced Graham

How to pronounce Hijklmnop
Well "van hijk" is surname pron hidge-kuh like fridge just without the fr and with a kuh on the end,
And the end would be nop (rhymes with mop and hop)
So hidge-Kuh-elem-nop

I met a abcde recently she was a adult living in the UK and I only realised when I had to write her name down.

Seriously? Abcde?

A FB friend has recently announced her unborn baby will be called Princess Nevaeh. I thought that was bad enough - but Abcde wins Silly Names Top Trumps hands down.

I read a book once with a character called lmnop. Ellemenohpee. I don't think it's great for a real person though...

Ella Minnow Pea! That's the lmnop book. I love it!
Wouldn't name a child lmnop though!
