Sorry VERY Frivolous but anyway... Quick opinions sought on a blue versus pink wallet/small clutch

I haven't spent money on a luxury non-essential item for a seriously long time. I need a new wallet/purse - mine is 15 years old and literally falling apart. I saw this Kate Spade wallet in a local department store and fell in love with it in both colours. I particularly love that this wallet will also hold my large mobile phone. I'm planning to use it as a wallet/purse in my larger everyday bag, but I think it's cute enough to use by itself as an evening small clutch type bag (although pretty much no room for makeup whatsoever... maybe a small powder compact/lip balm)

Anyway, I love the pink and think it will go with pretty much everything I wear, as it's a colour that will compliment or clash in a good way. I also love the blue, but I know it would not go with everything and blue is just not a colour that "clashes well" iykwim. The colours are a shiny patent ombre leather. I just can't shake the feeling that the pink could look cheap whereas the blue looks a little more classy/subdued - hence my dilemma and I definitely won't buy both, it's one or the other.

You can tell I agonise over spending money on non-essential things when I could buy a boring black purse/wallet. I appreciate anyone who got to the end of this and still is kind enough to offer an opinion!

Well, I would pick the pink. In fact, I have an almost identical KS wallet in pink. I really do love it.

I think the same, the pink might look cheap because it's patent...I would definitely go blue.

Mine is pebbled leather; I get what you mean about the pink patent, but I think I would go with the pink.

Gosh, I'm still leaning towards the pink. I handled the pink version in the store and it did look gorgeous and fun. The blue version is only available online so I can't be 100% sure it looks as good as the pictures. Perhaps my effortless style and class will help me carry off patent ombre pink lol...

I really should stop overthinking this, a bit of bright colour won't suddenly relegate me into "trashy" (or so I hope - perhaps we are all just a patent pink clutch away from trashy!)

I say go for it. I got a matching handbag when I bought mine, and I get compliments on both of them all the time. I think if you get the blue, you'll still be thinking about the pink.

I think you'll be more satisfied if you choose the pink, it sounds like you love pink, and it isn't trashy.

I thought similar about my phone case and went with a more subtle colour until it broke and then I just gave in and went for it with hot pink. I loved it!!

I like the pink one personally.

It looks bright and fun, it sounds like you love it and it will go with everything you wear so you will get lots of use out of it.

The blue looks okay but I think the more subdued colour looks a little odd with the shiny leather.

Just my opinion but I say go with the pink!
