I think IABU sad

Im 21 days late, quite irregular periods, for example I am ussaly a few days late but 21 days is quite late. Took a test and this is what I see, what do people think? It wasn't first morning urine so I suppose I could re test tomorrow, looks like an evap line to me (if anything sad)

I can't see one, sorry sad

Rabbishes Wed 11-Feb-15 13:57:06

I can't see a line at all. I'd wait a few days and test again.

MrsDermotOLeary Wed 11-Feb-15 13:57:25

You should try again in the morning though. Maybe use a more sensitive test?

FightOrFlight Wed 11-Feb-15 14:04:17

I can see a faint line but not sure if that's the picture quality or even if that's where the line is supposed to be!

Tubbytimmy Wed 11-Feb-15 14:06:34

Sorry I can't see a line zooming in

Hunnybunnys Wed 11-Feb-15 14:09:20

Thank you guys, will re test again, I guess i would of had a positive by now if I was though sad

TeaAndBisquits Wed 11-Feb-15 14:09:28

Is that the line between the dippy bit and the actual test stick though? Usually the line is much closer to the control line. Sorry.

Hunnybunnys Wed 11-Feb-15 14:15:45

This is the back of the box

flora717 Wed 11-Feb-15 14:18:34

Sorry, I can't see it. It would be about 1/2 way between where you've drawn and the control line.
If you tip the test in day light at eye level you'll see a different texture to the strip where the line would be. (Previous testing squinty insanity).
Do test again in a few days though. That is very late.
I've had a negative test today too. Join me in cake? cake

Sorry, I can't see a line. Do you use ovulation sticks too?
Just a thought as my cycle is very irregular. The ovulation sticks help me to work out if/how late I am so I don't get my hopes up.

If you are usually a few days late does this not mean you have a longer cycle than you are assuming? It was your use of the word usually that threw me. What do you mean by irregular?

juniorcakeoff Wed 11-Feb-15 14:20:50

The line on those ones is normally closer to the control line. Is there a reason for your irregular periods?

Lonelynessie Wed 11-Feb-15 14:21:47

I can see a very very faint line, so I don't think yabu. But definitely re test as it is very faint.

Aherdofmims Wed 11-Feb-15 14:22:24

I can see a faint line.

I've only ever had a faint line for either pregnancy.

But that may mean nothing in your case.

Hunnybunnys Wed 11-Feb-15 14:23:09

Im not actually TTC sad a BFP would be an accident but as I got later and later I stupidly got my hopes up, I have not really tracked my periods properly since I had DD 7 months ago, I just know my last period started on christmas eve

LittleBairn Wed 11-Feb-15 14:24:46

I can see a line/mark in your circle but it looks like it might be a fold or just a dip mark. But I find those test impossible to use.

Hunnybunnys Wed 11-Feb-15 14:24:58

oh and that my last period before Chistmas eve started 20th Nov

Augustwedding Wed 11-Feb-15 14:25:49

Try a different test! I had those and my bfp was so faint I thought I was seeing things! I wasn't! Good luck x

PrimalLass Wed 11-Feb-15 14:25:56

I can see it.

FightOrFlight Wed 11-Feb-15 14:34:10

Having seen the back of the box the line I could see looks too far away from the control (and is too thin)

Pantone363 Wed 11-Feb-15 14:39:41

I can see the faintest of faint lines.

Sidge Wed 11-Feb-15 14:39:59

The "line" that Fight has marked isn't a line, it's the overlap edge of the paper strip on the test strip. We use those strips at work.

If there was a positive line it would be closer to the test line, and if you are 21 days late for your period and pregnant you would have a proper positive result, assuming a 4-5 week cycle.

sparechange Wed 11-Feb-15 14:44:11

I can see a line, but it is where the test goes from thick to thin rather than being where the bfp line would be
Good luck if you test again

chinstrappenguin Wed 11-Feb-15 14:51:17

Think you need to buy a more sensitive test. A digital one would leave you in no date. I would expect a very strong line for 21 days late. Although if your periods are irregular you may not be as late as you think.
