Is anyone else being harassed by relatives and friends that have converted to the cult of aloe sales? Or is it just me?

Should I buy some, should I join them?

I have three on my window sills and it's a lifetimes work keeping them alive.

Bloomin marvelous for burns and midge bites in the summer.

Every home should have at least one! You don't have to whip off whole leaf either. They self seal so just take what you need.

I tried the juice. It was disgusting! Couldn't finish it and didn't notice any benefits to my health. I'd ignore it. It's a phase that will pass.

I have a friend who spent over a hundred pounds on what he describes as "witches piss" I don't like it! I think it's really sad that people are being brainwashed into selling the stuff!

Good for burns if it's the real good stuff, you are better getting from your own plant though- more economical and pure. The juice helps my sister, settles her stomach but it always did nothing for my IBS. I think a lot of these things jump on the 'X is great for everything' while actually if you look at the traditional use for it, it's usually X is good for some things ad also good in combinations with others.

I meant foreverliving but don't know if you are allowed to use brand names on MN

The pure FL Aloe stuff is pretty good, I use it on burns but actual plant would be better imo. I don't know if it's FL juice my sister drinks and I tried, it's from Holland and Barrett. I think FL hype up Aloe as the 'wonder herbal' too much, it's great and used a lot in different places as a Traditional medicine but not for everything or everyone and it's not a wonder herbal- no one herbal is.

An old school friend (I use the term 'friend') loosely who sells this crap via Facebook, she is constantly jumping down anyone and everyone's throat to tell them about aloe products to the point where people feel intimidated into buying them
