Please please...
Appealing to all mumsnetters out there, please take a moment of your time if you have a fb account and report the page 'Exterminate all Autistics'
Sorry for posting here, but really need the traffic as this is horrid and fb has claimed that 'the page is not breaking rules'... it breaks the law and should not be allowed to remain where it can cause upset to so many people whose lives' are already a struggle.
I know everyone here has a heart,
Thanks in advance

report it to the police as a hate crime? would that work? there are leaflets all over our llocal library giving such statements as examples of hate crimes.

I normally would agree with the 'ignore' camp on FB but really feel compelled to do something about this. I feel sick just looking at it, many of the loveliest kids I know are on the spectrum and I hate that what makes them vulnerable is other people's fuckwittery and nastiness

Today's stupid question. I reported it by hitting the three dots, then chose from one of the options they gave me and hit continue. That just took me to a little window that said they were sorry that I had had this experience and offered me as the sole method of resolving the problem the option of hiding posts from EAA. Nothing else happens. Clicking the "Done" button doesn't work, so it doesn't look as if I have reported it effectively. What am I doing wrong?

Apparently the group has been removed!!!

I know these vile people should be ignored, but as someone with an autistic sibling and a friend with two autistic children, I don't think people should have to be upset by seeing it in the first place.
Many thanks to all of you who reported, I am glad to say it has been removed Smile

Icimoi just for future reference...
Should you need to report a post, page, status etc on facebook, click the three dots with 'more' and select 'I don't think it should be on facebook'
Then you are given a set of reasons such as 'it is discriminating against race' or 'it is violent or harassing' etc and then click 'complete'

Yes,it's been removed. So glad about that.

When I first spotted it I hoped it was just a very sick and stupid extremist pranky type campaign illustrating how some others are using Facebook to incite and express hate against certain groups,as the offenders were,or claimed to be,asian as we're the majority of the likers.

However, after looking at it It was clear it wasn't.There was no irony,no intelligence and it was plain vile genuinely trying to incite hatred against people like my darling son.It was absolutely disgusting and seems the offenders were hiding behind fake profiles as well, including pretending to be Asian when they clearly weren't.

There were a few responses from people wondering if it was in fact a ploy to incite hatred towards people of Asian origin but I think that would be far too complex for the people posting as they clearly suffered from lack of intellect!
