I'd go.

I have a feeling something important may happen.

Though tell Joseph to upgrade the donkey to a cart.

ilovesooty Wed 03-Dec-14 09:34:27

Has he got a donkey sorted? grin

MadeInChorley Wed 03-Dec-14 09:35:18

How are you getting there? Is he leading you all the way? don't be fobbed off by public transport in your condition. Do you have your own donkey? And make sure you book a hotel it's murder trying to get a room at Christmas.

formerbabe Wed 03-Dec-14 09:36:05

Is he even the father?!

ZenNudist Wed 03-Dec-14 09:36:25

It depends. Is he supporting you through an unplanned pregnancy and the baby's not his?

Give him the benefit of the doubt.

You must be psychic! What is 'Christmas'? Never heard of it. A mass held for some bloke called Christ? When's he coming along then.?

strawberryshoes Wed 03-Dec-14 09:37:35

YANBU. However, it's one day of the year, you love him (even though we both know the baby isn't his, right? Have you told him yet?) so you should suck it up and make the journey. You might even get some nice birth gifts from passing strangers if you do happen to go into labour.

Fgs. I hope you've packed enough to see you through. No bugger can be relied upon to stick to the wish list for appropriate gifts. I put babygros and nappies on mine. What did I end up with? Precious metals and fucking perfume.

RubbishRobotFromTheDawnOfTime Wed 03-Dec-14 09:38:36

Tell him to bugger off. You'll be too busy preparing for the winter solstice festival to go travelling.

HowsTheSerenity Wed 03-Dec-14 09:38:56

Are you going to wear a helmet or just your wimple?

Rats! Serenity beat me to it! grin

SomebodyWillGetHurt Wed 03-Dec-14 09:42:53

Your not the first woman to travel while pregnant. You'll be grand. Not like your PFB is any different than any other baby.

superbagpuss Wed 03-Dec-14 09:43:32

All I can say is wear blue - it matches your eyes beautifully

And packs lots of swaddling - I have a feeling you may need it

LonnyVonnyWilsonFrickett Wed 03-Dec-14 09:47:06

Make sure you take your own manger. Most hotels have them nowadays but I just don't like the idea of putting my PFB on someone else's straw.

TeaAddict235 Wed 03-Dec-14 09:49:42

this journey and event will go down in history. Be an obliging wife.

Castlemilk Wed 03-Dec-14 09:50:08

Do you think he suspects about the OM and wants to get you away from your place?

YABU. You should go, but remember to pack some hay fever tablets. You never know when they'll come in handy.

ruby1234 Wed 03-Dec-14 09:58:41

Tell him you're not going. Guidelines today say it is safer to give birth at home.
Also, it is not recommended to ride donkeys in your condition - what if you fall off and go into early labour!

LonnyVonnyWilsonFrickett Wed 03-Dec-14 10:03:25

It is a bit controlling mind you. What's he like normally?

crumblebumblebee Wed 03-Dec-14 10:04:36

Sorry Kim but you're a bit late, this one has already been done!
