I went 9 days over first time!

I was fine until EDD passed then I turned into some crazy, raving loon of a woman that scared people (by people I mean my OH)

True. I went a week over with DD2 and that week lasted at least 6 months but no one believes me.

YANBU I went 10 days over with ds2. 10 days sounds like nothing but it took an unbelievably long time to pass.

Yep, I'm in my last week and feel like this!

16 days over with DD. I was ok until about 40+2 and then turned into a furious raving whale-shaped demon. Those two weeks lasted about six hellish months, I swear.

Nope not at all unreasonable! Went 12 days over with dd and "I just want the baby out!" became my daily - virtually hourly in fact - mantra..... Mind you, knowing her as she as now (willful, determined & contrary - although completely adorable also, obviously) this is probably why she took so long! :) Am now only 29+3 weeks with ds and am already feeling like this..... January is Years away by comparison!! Good luck, Op! :)

I'm not even due yet (37+2) and I'm counting down every hour of every day. I am so over being pregnant. I can't imagine another three weeks of this, let alone going overdue and potentially having to wait another five. I can't put my own socks on or hoist myself off the sofa, there is no possible position for me to sit or lie in that actually feels comfortable, my SPD was better for a while but has now come back with a vengeance, and I've suddenly turned into a stroppy cow when up until now I've not had a single mood swing. I want this baby out immediately.

I've never got past 35 weeks with either DC! Enjoy it! We were taken by surprise and had to try to buy a car seat over the phone whilst in hospital Grin

YADNBU - EDD is on Friday and this week just seems to be lasting forever. At least I have a mw appointment tomorrow to break up the monotony.

It's true. Which is why with DC4 I ensured* she came a week earlier than my planned ELCS Grin

*Okay, it was just luck!

I am with you here! Currently 38+6 and have had enough! The thought of another 3 weeks potentially is awful.

Sorry. I was a sprightly albeit slightly unstable and often-peeing fairy by 39+5 when I gave birth. I however had/have to nod knowing when people complained/complain about how awful it was/is for them so as not to offend.
My pregnancy and birth were easy overall, and while I very much know it isn't for many women, I almost always get given the evil eye if I share mine, so now I mostly just shut up. No-one wants to hear plain old easy pregnancy/birth stories, which is rather sad. I've had a few problems since and someone told me it was karma for having it so easy. I laughed at the time, but retrospectively it hurt quite a lot. Sad

I hear you. 39+2 with DC3. So over it. Don't know if it's a boy or girl and an desperate to find out. Also desperate to stop peeing every 30 minutes.
