Because I missed out on the 15 minute window they were for sale last week.

Any other options besides a) not going or b) spending circa £500 on eBay?

Thanks for the suggestion, I'd never come across that site before. Apparently they are restricting sales there until 5 weeks before the gigs to minimise fraud, but it might be an option! Smile

She could release another load of dates if this has proved financially worthwhile.

Otherwise, be available on the day to collect/meet fans who post on FB/fan sites that they can't go. Usually they just want to make back what they paid.

I cannot think of anything legal.

I was there when she sung with David Gilmour at the Festival Hall around 12 or 13 years ago.

I've always managed to get tickes for these things. Keep checking the official website. Blocks of tickets he returned by organisers and they put them back on sale at random times. We've never failed yet!

Get Me In or Viagogo but I just looked and they are being offered for ridiculous prices on there.

Do you think that the Scarletmist thing is for real? And is it five weeks before the first concert, or from which date?....
Thanks for the link btw!

But even if you got them on eBay etc, aren't they asking for photo ID from the buyer on arrival?

yes Empress. My sister-in-law got some during the fan presale and a couple of other friends managed to get some in last week's general scramble.

The terms of booking start very clearly that entry will not be allowed without the lead booker being present and with ID.

There are tickets at huge markups on getmein, but bear in mind these are unlikely to be resales as getmein are owned by ticketmaster and guess who the selling agent was... ?

It stinks, but it could be that because of the entry policy current holders who can't go will be able to return their tickets for a refund so the venue/ticketmaster can re-release them at a later date.

I have been to over 200 concerts and I very rarely buy tickets in advance unless I am 100% sure I am going. I wait until the day of the concert and turn up at the venue an hour or two before doors open. It's guaranteed that there will be someone selling tickets in the queue. Not touts, they are arseholes but fans who are trying to sell their friends tickets because they couldn't make it, they have spares etc.

People think I'm mad because I don't buy them before the concert but I've never been let down yet, including concerts that have sold out within minutes (rolling stones, one direction, red hot chilli peppers etc). It's risky, but it's worth a go if you get to concert day and still don't have a ticket. I usually pay face value or less depending on how long it is until doors open.

Keep it in mind and I hope you get some Smile

Sorry I just read that they ask for id so the tickets can't be sold on

I didn't realise they are doing this now, I've never had that problem Confused

Sorry Blush
