To wonder if skinny jeans make your legs ache?

I'm sorry to be still going on about this but does anyone notice their legs ache if they wear skinny jeans a lot? So still aching once the jeans are off?

No aching.

I do get pins and needles if I kneel in them though

I have a pair of tight skinny jeans which make my legs ache so can't wear them for long, as soon as I get home I whip them off.

No, no aching here. But yes to the pins and needles when kneeling.

I get this with some knee high boots that I have that are tight. I think it depends how tight they are, but my calves really ache after a day in the boots, so I can see tight tight jeans might do the same.

I've been getting aching in my thighs and went to doc who has sent me for blood test for anemia and thyroid, but I don't have any other symptoms and otherwise feel well. I've been thinking about when my legs ache and i think it's connected to when I wear my super skinny jeans. Oh gosh if it's just that I feel a bit mortified about docs appointment. Bagpuss when you say ache what do you mean? Thighs?

I had that from hard material.

No but I've had it from below the knee socks that were too tight and pop socks not that I'd wear something as hideous as pop socks honestly

How can skinny jeans cause permanent damage Flicktheswitch?

To answer the original question, no they don't make my legs ache.

Do you spend a fair amount of time sitting down in super skinnies? I'm wondering if the aching is from them digging at the top of your thigh/groin area when seated? So creating a bit of a dead leg scenario...

I had heard that overly tight low rise jeans can compress a nerve and cause pain or numbness in the legs which can become permanent if you keep wearing them and ignoring symptoms.

I was eyeing them with suspicion already because they left a big seam mark down the inside of my leg, I'm a skinny legged size 10 and thought that was a bit off.

I do get pain in one knee sometimes wearing skinny jeans, but that is an old running injury that will never quite go completely. Some things set it off and the restriction of the material does.

I bought some Next relaxed skinny jeans which are nice soft material and they don't seem to hurt.

They don't make my legs ache.

Are you sure you're wearing the right size?

Doesn't sound like they fit you tbh.

You can get such a thing as compression leggings which stimulate your muscles/blood flow after strenuous exercise. They're really tight fitting leggings with seams in specific places. I've worn them a few times and they really make my legs ache after a while.

Given this, I reckon there's a good chance that some skinny jeans could have the same effect.

Nope, no ache here. I wear New Look and Next skinny jeans. The tightest/skinniest ones are from Next. If they make your legs ache maybe try a different fit or size? Next do different types of skinny.

All us fatties are just crying our eyes out for you. Here's a thought - wear clothes that really fit you. And if you're no longer a teenager do you really look so good in them anyway?

I vaguely remember having this in skinnies made from that really hard denim. I don't get it in the softer types

Don't worry about docs. You'll find out re. other tests if they was something else amiss, then if there is a follow up consultation say the ache has stopped, if it has, could mention the jeans. Corsets used to hurt people so it is not beyond the realms.

If no follow up consultation is required I would leave it unless there is still a problem. Many complaints alleviate spontaneously.

But if you must wear skinnies get some super soft very stretchy ones. Grin
