Hi. I am not sure if there is a more appropriate section to post. Sorry to put two links. Not sure if they will work. I cannot believe these are only for sale in the US. I have wasted so much time looking for a UK supplier on line and getting nowhere but I am sure I have seen these about over the years. Any idea who sells them?

Any help would be much appreciated.

You could always make one smile

NorwegianBirdhouse Tue 11-Mar-14 18:54:21

I wouldn't be good enough to make one unfortunately but thanks for looking.

It's from wallmart, can't find any UK supplier.

Amazon have it on.

Oh I love these!

Pippintea Tue 11-Mar-14 19:03:29

How did you link the picture in your 2nd post OP?!

Optimist1 Tue 11-Mar-14 19:04:57

If you have a local forge it might be worth asking if they could make one for you?

NorwegianBirdhouse Tue 11-Mar-14 19:09:33

Pippintea, when you create a thread click choose file to load up a picture. I didn't think of it at first.

Thank you all for your interest. Very frustrating not being able to find it.

Thanks Nursey for looking that up for me.

CSIJanner Tue 11-Mar-14 20:35:08

I've found some items similar but not exact...

All are in the UK.

NorwegianBirdhouse Tue 11-Mar-14 20:47:42

Thank you CSI. I really appreciate you looking. They are actually very nice too.

Would this one from Argos work?

honeythewitch Tue 11-Mar-14 23:34:04

Why not just buy the one from Ebay? It says they deliver to the UK.

NorwegianBirdhouse Wed 12-Mar-14 00:21:48

Another lovely one different.

Honey, believe me I probably am but will have a customs charge and large delivery cost. It just doesn't seem particularly American and I didn't want to spot it locally next month after paying extra costs.

BillyBanter Wed 12-Mar-14 00:24:10

You might find there is a metal worker in your area who can reproduce it for a reasonable cost. No harm in asking.

BillyBanter Wed 12-Mar-14 00:28:42

This is a wine bottle rack.....

BillyBanter Wed 12-Mar-14 00:29:19

oh no, that doesn't work it's got a full circle for the neck end.

There are no extra customs charge on this one. It is using a system where it is pre-paid. The postage isnt all that bad as long as you know there are no more charges.
Just get it and enjoy it. you wouldnt be happy with one that wasnt quite as nice.

NorwegianBirdhouse Wed 12-Mar-14 00:41:23

Last one is great BillyBanter, but did you notice I would have to order 500 of them. lol

honeythewitch Wed 12-Mar-14 00:43:36

Oooh Billy, I like that stainless steel one. (Not that I have got either wine or nice towels)

BillyBanter Wed 12-Mar-14 00:45:53

You can open up your own ebay shop! grin

NorwegianBirdhouse Wed 12-Mar-14 12:25:46

You're right Honey about not settling for a substitute. When you go to checkout there do seem to be three charges, price, customs and delivery and if memory serves, delivery is more than price so didn't want to buy without checking. Should just treat myself though, shouldn't I. grin) - (don't know how to insert smiley)

Thanks again for all your kind help.

seriously why not see if there is a metal worker in the area and email it over for a quote.
